April 5 to 13 = International Youth Tournament in Luxemburg, 18 teams took part.
Matches v Scotland, Wales & Ireland were part of the International Youth Championship. Both England and Wales finished with four points, England had a superior goals record.

Bobby played in 17 out of a possible 19 games during 1957-58. Barnsley wing half Dave Barber played in 18 of the 19, therefore if 18 caps was the record at the time the two players held it jointly.
Assuming the 1958-59 FA Yearbook is correct, the two games Bobby missed were Sept 26 v Spain at Birmingham, drew 4-4 & Oct 15 v Romania at White Hart Lane, won 4-2.

Many thanks to John Northcutt for compiling the Youth Career stats.
